Horseshoe Power currently has three natural gas fired power plants operating in Central Alberta.  All of these power plants are physically integrated within Horseshoe's owned and operated natural gas fields and are grid connected. 

 

The most recently constructed of these power plants is co-located with a commercial scale greenhouse and is referred to as "tri-generation" because it produces three useful products:  electricity, heat and CO2.
